On the way down Kevin and I stopped in Sucre. And stayed a bit longer than planned, as I did not feel too good. Sucre is a nice colonial city and we stayed in the Pachamama hostel which was perfect for a few relaxed days.
The bad news first: Aside from being ill two days, both my little talisman from my parents and my black shirt disappeared in the laundry. Sucks, especially for the talisman.
The good news: Rüdiger will come to Santiago de Chile and we will be going for some hikes. He will stay for a month. Yeah! And he will even bring my hiking stuff, so I don’t need to rent it here. Claudia will join, too. So we will be the same team that hiked the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island in 2009. Looking really forward to it!
To all my friends: Learn a lesson from Rüdiger and visit me!
