Kuala Lumpur – Big city.

Well, KL. A big city. However, it was a necessary stop that get some things sorted out: Booking a flight to Nepal. Planning the time until my flight to Nepal. Getting laundry done :-)

Nevertheless I had a good time here. Shared a room with a former Pakistan model the second night. Unfortunately, it was male ;-) But Ali had been in KL for a few days already and showed me around. Of course, we went to see the Petronas Twin Towers. Impressive building, especially when illuminated at night. Thanks Ali for the funny day! And thanks for your invitation to Pakistan! I hope it will work out!

For the next days I decided to treat myself and moved to the Back Home Hostel. Luxury hostel! Awesome staff! Special thanks to Fadly, who took me out for dinner two days in a row and showed me non touristy places with delicious food! And to Nazaruddin, the extremely friendly and attentive night watch man!

Sharing your room with a model…, life could be worse, and then the impressive Petronas towers. I have to visit the Mathildenhöhe/Hochzeitsturm (a somewhat smaller tower in Darmstadt)soon again, maybe some models are hanging out even there :-)
