After the hike around the Laguna Quilotoa<\/a> Claudia und I did not feel too good so we headed back to Quito to see a doctor. Of course, I stayed in Casa Bambu<\/a> again. Thanks to all the awesome people staying there for the very warm welcome I got! And the caring over the next few days! Helped a lot!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Pichincha in clouds.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As always, I\u2019ve got bored after laying in bed for a day, so I went with Elise and Wouter up the Pichincha, Quitos \u201chome volcano\u201d. We took the Teleferico first and enjoyed the beautiful landscape up there. Very fast and nice escape from the busy city. Due to an important appointment of Wouter we did not make it all the way to the top but it was still a very nice hike with a lot of fun.<\/p>\n

In the evening I was invited to the farewell party of Elise, Marieke, and Wouter (the Slangenbergs). Had a delicious dinner with them and their friends. Afterward we went to a disco in Mariscal. Actually, quite bad music but a lot of known faces. Funny evening. Thanks to the Slangenbergs for inviting me and all in all for all the fun I have had with the three of you!<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a doctor did not find anything to cure the next day, I decided to climb Cotopaxi with Babsi, a girl we have met in Latacunga. And hoped, that the stomach problems would disappear with time (which they did not).<\/p>\n
