The second excursion Simone and I did from Chachapoyas was a hiking trip to the Gocta waterfall. As always I enjoyed the hike a lot. We went on a nice trek through beautiful cloud forest. I was lucky and got a glimpse of the Cock-of-the-Rock, Peru’s national bird.

2 CommentsI decided to rent a scooter and explore a part of the Krabi mainland region. Which was a lot of fun, especially on the rural roads. Got great views from the Tiger Cave Temple and a soothing bath in the Hot Spring Waterfall.
5 CommentsI had two relaxed weeks in Kanchanaburi. Learned a lot about the Asian war theater in World War II. Went to the seven tiered Erawan waterfall and spent an amazing time with elephants. Basically, I got back on track again :-)
