Ai and Vivi asked if I would like to join a trip of them to Phi Phi. So I packed my stuff and we left for the world known island of Ko Phi Phi.
8 CommentsI decided to rent a scooter and explore a part of the Krabi mainland region. Which was a lot of fun, especially on the rural roads. Got great views from the Tiger Cave Temple and a soothing bath in the Hot Spring Waterfall.
5 CommentsAfter weeks of physical laziness I was ready for some sport. So I booked a full day kayaking tour around (and inside) Ao Thalane. It is a peninsular with huge karst rocks and mangroves along the open sea.
6 CommentsRound about 200 islands are scattered around the Krabi coastline. White sandy beaches, palms, turquoise blue water, and impressive limestone rock formations. Postcard scenery all around.
2 CommentsI had two relaxed weeks in Kanchanaburi. Learned a lot about the Asian war theater in World War II. Went to the seven tiered Erawan waterfall and spent an amazing time with elephants. Basically, I got back on track again :-)
18 CommentsThe flight was booked, so it was time to leave for the second part of this trip… Asia, with start in Bangkok.
